Fairfield Giants PeeWees Post Wins In Week 4

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Giants posted several wins in week 4.

These are the results of the week's action, according to a news release:

MMJR

Fairfield 12 West Haven 12. The Fairfield Giant’s Mitey Mites traveled to West Haven last Saturday with all starting defensive players earning the game ball as the Giants tied the Seahawks 12-12. “The Giants defense has held the line all season allowing just 7 points per game while the offense is posting 23 points per game, but watching the kids develop as a team and playing with such determination trumps any statistic, that’s the win” said assistant coach Eli Reynolds according to the release.

The team will play the Bridgeport Raiders for week 5 at 1 p.m., Saturday at Sullivan Field.

MMSR

Fairfield 0 West Haven 13. After two quick scores in the first quarter, Fairfield’s defense settled down and played contain football, stuffing the Seahawk RBs for the remaining 3 periods, according to the release. 

JR PEE WEE

Fairfield 40 Milford 6 The Giants Jr Pee Wees posted a 40-6 win over the Eagles of Milford, improving their overall record to 2-2. "After two hard fought battles in week 2 and 3 vs top division opponents, the boys of Sullivan field regrouped, made adjustments, and came out fired up, rejuvenated, playing with confidence and having fun," according to the release. 

PEE WEE

Fairfield 20 West Haven 6 The Pee Wee team improved to 3-1, defeating division rival West Haven on the road. The Giants' offensive unit "orchestrated several clock killing drives, keeping the Sea Hawk’s offense on the sidelines for the majority of the first half," according to the release. 

JR MIDGET

The Fairfield Giants Jr. Midgets Fell to West Haven 35-0, according to the release. "It was a hard fought, physical contest this past Saturday at Ray Tellier Field when the West Haven Seahawks awaited the Fairfield Giants," according to the release.
