FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Teams from Fairfield American and Fairfield National squared off Saturday in the District 2 10-and-under baseball semifinals. The Americans won, 8-0, to advance to the championship game against Westport. The run ended there for Fairfield American, which dropped a 4-2 decision.
