Watch Fairfield Ludlowe Meet 'The Challenge'

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Ludlowe High School’s team in “The Challenge” beat its cross-town rivals. Now you can watch it take on a team from farther down the line. The Falcons’ regional semifinal matchup against Stamford’s Westhill High School airs Tuesday night on MSG Varsity.

"The Challenge" is a quiz show for high school students in Cablevision’s coverage area. Teams of four answer high-school level questions on history, arts, literature, current events, math and science in front of a live studio audience. The top team in the tri-state area could win $10,000 for its school, plus a $500 bonus for each team member.

The Falcons this year are represented by captain Olivia Morrison, Amanda Brenner, Gregory Convertito, Derek Chu and alternate Karen Chu. They are led by academic advisors John Antonello and Courtenay Trahan.

Ludlowe got to the Fairfield County semifinals by beating Fairfield Warde’s team earlier this spring. If Ludlowe beats Westhill, it would be one step away from the tri-state championships, where it would take on other regional winners from Westchester County, Suffolk County, Nassau County, Brooklyn, Bronx and New Jersey.

You can see the Falcons take on the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night on Cablevision/iO Channel 14.
