The annual "Tomlinson Rake & Bake" is set to continue Saturday around Fairfield. More than 60 Tomlinson Middle School students will provide services to 13 homes of senior citizens around the town.

"It's a wonderful opportunity for our students to give back to the community by connecting with senior citizens and at the same time, a great way to have some outdoor fun with friends," said Rake & Bake committee chairs Elaine Hogan and Kathleen Ruppert in the press release. "In addition, holding the event around Veterans Day reminds us all of the importance of community service and helping others."

The Rake & Bake event is sponsored by the Tomlinson PTA.
