Study Skills Workshops Head To Fairfield Library

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — School may not start for more than a month, but it’s never too early to get kids back into good study habits. The Fairfield Public Library will host workshops run by Successful Study Skills 4 Students (S4) at the end of August to get kids ready for the new school year.

“Study skills are the critical and necessary foundation for academic success,” said S4 President Michelle Sagalyn. “We are pleased to once again offer the S4 workshops in Fairfield for high schoolers so that area students can take advantage of these important tools in time for the start of school.”

The company’s instructors will take kids through good study practices, such as goal setting, time management, note taking and asking the right questions. High school students can sign up for one of two sets of three-day workshops: Aug. 22-24 and Aug. 29-31. The sessions are 2 1/2 hours, and each workshop costs $350.
