Fairfield County

Darien Public Schools: Darien Closed beginning Thursday, March 12. Schools will resume on Thursday, March 26. Additional details will be released.

Greenwich Public Schools: Closed beginning Thursday, March 12 through next week. The district does not have any COVID-19 case, but is taking the step because Superintendent Toni Jones said, "There is still cause for concern with the growing number of cases given our proximity to affected areas in New York and Southwestern Connecticut."

New Canaan Public Schools: Closed for 14 calendar days beginning on Thursday, March 12, to help limit the potential for “community spread” of the virus after a resident of the town, an elderly man living in a private residence, was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Norwalk Public Schools: Closed Thursday, March 12 for the district to take the next step to organize lesson plans and materials to continue student learning at home, in the event of a long-duration closure.

Westport Public Schools: Closed until further notice due to possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.

Wilton Public Schools: Closed until further notice after the district was notified that parents of one or more students had direct contact with a presumptive positive COVID-19 person.
