The following are schedule adjustments by schools and school districts due to the outbreak of the novel strain of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Darien Public Schools: Darien Closed beginning Thursday, March 12. Schools will resume on Thursday, March 26. Additional details will be released.
Greenwich Public Schools: Closed beginning Thursday, March 12 through next week. New Canaan Public Schools: Closed for 14 calendar days beginning on Thursday, March 12, to help limit the potential for “community spread” of the virus after a resident of the town, an elderly man living in a private residence, was diagnosed with COVID-19.
Norwalk Public Schools: Closed Thursday, March 12 for the district to take the next step to organize lesson plans and materials to continue student learning at home, in the event of a long-duration closure.
Westport Public Schools: Closed until further notice due to possible exposure to the novel coronavirus.
Wilton Public Schools: Closed until further notice after the district was notified that parents of one or more students had direct contact with a presumptive positive COVID-19 person.
