Grab Some Treats for Fairfield's Relay for Life

Good Friday is a day of sacrifice for most Christians, but that shouldn’t stand in the way of picking up treats for a good cause. Representing both Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlowe High Schools, Phoebe Isler, Alexa Binkowitz, Cara Beglin and Rebecca Girouard are holding a bake sale on Sherman Green to raise money for Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.

“It just seemed like it would be a good opportunity to raise money for Relay for Life,” said Alexa.

The girls have a wide range of baked goods, from chocolate-covered pretzel sticks to marshmallow-filled brownies. They’ll be on the Green (at the corner of the Post Road and Reef Road) until 3 p.m. All money they raise will go to their Relay for Life team, which will walk in the event at Fairfield Ludlowe on June 4.
