Crisis Counseling Offered Monday After School Lockdowns In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- In the wake of Friday's lockdown crisis counselors will be available Monday in Fairfield for anyone experiencing anxiety or the effects of post-traumatic stress.

Crisis counseling will be available today for anyone in need after Friday's lockdown at all Fairfield schools.

Counselors will be available from 3 to 7 p.m. in the library's of both Fairfield Ludlowe High School and Fairfield Warde High School. Information about community resources and talking points for addressing children will be provided. 

All of Fairfield's 17 schools were placed on lockdown, then released early Friday after numerous fake 911 calls and threats were made to the schools.
