Stratfield 2nd Graders Tour Police, EMT, Fire Rigs Stratfield Grade 2 students got an up-close look at an ambulance, a police car, and a fire engine during Community Helper Day, Fairfield Public Schools announced on its Facebook page. Police, EMT, and fire representatives joined the students to talk about how they serve the community and to take questions from the class. Students asked about a range of topics, including fire safety and police work, before getting a closer look inside the emergency vehicles, the district said.
