A suspect is in custody after an armed robbery at the Connecticut Post Mall on Saturday evening during the height of Christmas shopping season, Milford Police said.
There was a heavy police presence in New Haven, where the suspect was apprehended along with a handgun with the assistance of the New Haven and West Haven police departments.
The robbery occurred in the parking lot of the mall.
The victim was not injured, said police, adding that more details will be released.
