FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- State Rep. Brenda Kupchick (R-132) has received the endorsement of the Independent Party of Connecticut in her re-election bid.
“I am proud to receive the endorsement for my work on behalf of Fairfield residents,” said Kupchick. “I believe receiving the support of the CT Independent Party is reflective of my record of being an independent voice for the 132nd District in Hartford.”
By receiving this endorsement, Kupchick will appear on both the Republican and Independent ballot lines on Election Day.
“I will continue my approach of working toward common sense solutions to the challenges Connecticut is facing if I'm chosen by the voters on Nov. 8,” she added.
Kupchick represents Fairfield and Southport in the state House of Representatives in the Connecticut General Assembly.
“We believe Brenda is a fresh independent-minded voice in the state legislature seeking an inclusive and responsible state government for all residents,” said John Dietter, state chairman of the Connecticut Independent Party. “Her views on state spending, debt and the need for economic growth reflect our goals. We enthusiastically endorse Brenda’s candidacy, and look forward to her victory in November.”
