“I am opening a new chapter in my political journey by establishing this exploratory committee and will spend the next several months considering my options for the 2014 election cycle,” said Fawcett. “It’s inspiring to spend my days working on policy changes to improve the lives of women, children and our families, and I am excited about the opportunity to continue that work with greater outreach.”

Fawcett is serving her eighth year as a member of the Connecticut General Assembly and has represented both Fairfield and Westport.

The 28th District is comprised of parts of Easton, Fairfield, Newtown, Weston & Westport.
