Fairfield Republicans Honoring Three At Annual Clambake

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Fairfield Republican Town Committee will be honoring three longtime volunteers for their service to Fairfield and to the Republican Town Committee during the group's annual Lobster Bake on Friday, Sept. 18.

Jim Baldwin will receive the Myrtle Miller Party Loyalty Award, Meg Francis will be bestowed with the Gerry Malafronte Community Service Award, and Ray Neuberger will be awarded the Paul Tymniak Young Republican Award. 

The event is taking place at the Jackie Durrell Pavilion, 401 Fairfield Beach Road, from 7 to 11 p.m.

“We are very pleased to be honoring three dedicated, and hard-working individuals who have been instrumental in bettering our community. This event is a time to celebrate their work and recognize their leadership,” said RTC Chairman James Millington. 

"Jim Baldwin, Meg Francis and Ray Neuberger consistently give their time to Fairfield because they value our town and community, and have garnered much respect and admiration for their unabashed volunteerism," he said.

Francis served on local boards and volunteered in area nonprofit organizations.

Neuberger is an Easton native who has resided in Fairfield since 2012. He has served on the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) since 2013.
