To the Editor:

I am supporting Cristin McCarthy Vahey for re-election to the 133rd State Representative District, and I encourage voters to cast their ballot for Cristin. Cristin is worthy of our accolades for the outstanding service she has provided to our District.

Mr. Neuberger, her opponent, talks a good deal about out-of-control budgets, and suggests that he is the better person to represent the 133rd in State budget hearings. He also claims to be a strong advocate of quality education.  However, as an RTM member, he did NOT attend the vote for the RTM town budget, nor for the education budget.

Cristin is a leader, she shows up for important votes, and reflects the voice of her constituency. If Mr. Neuberger cannot make it to a budget meeting here in Fairfield, how is he expected to make it to Hartford?
