Fairfield GOP To Honor Three Members Thursday

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – The Fairfield Republican Town Committee will honor three of its highest-ranking elected officials at its annual Lobster Bake and Award Ceremony Thursday evening.

Former Selectman and current Board of Finance member James Walsh will be presented with the Myrtle Miller Party Loyalty Award for dedicated service to Republican causes and campaigns. Current Selectman Kevin Kiley will receive the Gerry Malafronte Community Service Award. And RTM Majority Leader David Becker will take home the Paul Tymniak Young Republican Award.

“All three are caring and devoted individuals who have helped make our community a better place to live through the advocacy of our principles,” said RTC Chair James Millington.

The RTC Lobster Bake and Awards Ceremony will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Jacky Durrell Pavilion on Fairfield Beach Road. Other state and local officials and candidates, including U.S. Senate hopeful Linda McMahon, will also be in attendance.
