FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- As much of the county grows weary on politics -- 34 percent say they can't wait for Election 2016 to be over -- the majority of Daily Voice readers will still be glued to their TV sets tonight to watch the first -- and only -- vice presidential debate.
Forty-seven percent say they are more interested in what Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, who's running with Hillary Clinton on the Democratic ticket and Indiana Governor Mike Pence, who's with Republican Nominee Donald J. Trump on the GOP ticket, will discuss.
The 90-minute event, set for Tuesday, Oct. 4, will air from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. from Longwood University in Farmville, VA and will be divided into nine segments of about 10 minutes each.
Of course a certain percentage will be tuned out. Our DV Decision poll has 19 percent who say this election is too much of a circus to watch.
