Twins, One Other Nabbed With Guns/Drugs In Area, Police Say

Twin brothers, one of them wanted for shooting a teenager last month, were nabbed along with another man on search warrants following an investigation.

John Tyquin Holman and Johnathan Tyquon Holman, both 27, and Justin Scott, 27, were arrested on Monday, Oct. 7, during a joint operation by the Bridgeport Police Emergency Services Unit and Stratford Police Special Response Team at the PT Barnum Housing Complex, said Stratford Capt. Frank Eannotti.

 Stratford detectives along with members of the Bridgeport Safe Streets Task Force and Bridgeport Police Gang Unit took the three into custody during the warrants search after finding a .40 caliber handgun, ammunition, crack cocaine, heroin, and marijuana packaged for sale, Eannotti said.

John Tyquin Holman, a convicted felon, was wanted for the Sept. 21, shooting of a teenager at the Sports Corner Cafe in Stratford. 

He was charged with assault, criminal possession of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit. He is being held on a $750,000.00 bond.

Johnathan Tyquon Holman was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a high capacity magazine, criminal possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to sell. He was held on a $500,000.00 bond.

Justin Scott was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana, operating a drug factory, and possession with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a prohibited location. He was released on a $50,000 bond. 

They are all scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
