The girl’s mother, Amanda Santiago, 23, of Wells Place, was arrested after the child’s father arrived at the party with two teen girls, 17 and 16, of Shell Street, who the mother said were not invited, police said.

Santiago told police the girl’s grandmother got in an argument with the girl’s father and someone threw a cup at Santiago and the fight ensued, police said.

Police received several 911 calls about the incident, which took place at about 5 p.m.

Santiago was released on a promise to appear in court April 18. The teens were scheduled to appear in court on April 21, police said.

Police alerted the state Department of Children and Families about the incident.
