FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A restaurant in Fairfield was broken into late Wednesday night, the Connecticut Post said.

The alarm at Middle Eastern restaurant Safita went off around 10:15 p.m., the Connecticut Post said. The cash register and a hammer was found on the floor, as well as a broken window, but it appears nothing was taken, according to Connecticut Post.
