Police: Five Vehicles Entered Overnight In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield officers were investigating complaints from residents that five cars were entered overnight Sunday, with four of the incidents on Brookview Avenue, police said.

Between 8 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday, residents on Brookview Avenue and Stratfield Road reported that their cars were entered and rummaged through, police said.

A hot pink iPod nano worth $150 was taken from a black Ford on Brookview Avenue, police said. The driver side window was smashed, causing $200 in damage, police said. That was the only item reported missing.

The other cars entered were unlocked and had their center consoles and glove boxes rummaged through, though nothing was taken, police said.
