Police: Fairfield University Student Attacked, Sexually Assaulted On Campus

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Fairfield University student said she was attacked Monday night while walking from the library to Bannow Hall, reports the Connecticut Post.

Police received a 911 call at 10:50 p.m. from a female student who reported a middle-aged man punched her in the face and then sexually assaulted her, reports the Connecticut Post.

Detectives from the Fairfield Police Department were investigating, and the student was being treated at St. Vincent's Medical Center, reports the Connecticut Post.
