The victim told police she hadn’t been in a relationship with David Maldonado since early 2011 and hadn’t been in contact with him since, the police report said.
She began receiving texts, emails and phone calls and several anonymous letters were left in her house and place of work, police said.
He also has shown up at her place of work, and she told officers she fears for her safety, police said.
Police charged Maldonado with breach of peace, second-degree harassment and threatening.
He was held on $10,000 for a Sept. 27 appearance at Bridgeport Superior Court. No information was available regarding this court date.
