The alleged robbery took place around 6:56 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, when a 31-year-old man was walking home from Fire Engine Pizza Company when he was confronted by four teens, said Terron Jones spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
The teens asked to use the man's phone and for him to buy them pizza, Jones said.
When he refused, one of the teenagers punched the man in the eye, he said.
The man was able to break free and call the police, police said.
The teens fled on Fairfield Avenue.
