Law enforcement officials took guns and drugs from a pair of convicted felons, according to the Bridgeport Police.
Bridgeport Police Department narcotics detectives and state and federal officers conducted an operation in the east end of Bridgeport Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 1:30 p.m. that reportedly resulted in the seizure of two firearms in the possession of convicted felons, along with a quantity of crack cocaine, said police.
Both men were caught after a brief motor vehicle pursuit that ended with the vehicle driver crashing into a wall at the intersection of Hollister Avenue and Orange Street, according to Bridgeport Police.
The two men were taken to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment sustained in the motor vehicle crash and have not yet been booked, police said.
Police will provide identities when confirmed after booking, said Bridgeport Police Department Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.
