The woman, 34, took off her Santos de Cartier Galbee watch to get changed in the bathroom at Burr School on May 9. It was unclear whether she was a parent, employee or guest at the Burr Street school, police said.
She made several attempts to find the watch, only reporting the possible theft to police on May 27.
