An employee at Devan Infiniti, 26 Commerce Drive, reported that two cars had been parked in the overflow lot across from the dealership’s main building, police said. The cars were left unattended between 6 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

When the employee returned to the cars, he noticed that the rims and wheels were missing, police said. The value of the property was $11,978.92, according to police.

Nearby, tires and rims were also reported missing from a vehicle parked at a body shop owed by New Country Lexus, police said.

The dealership said the car was left stacked on pieces of asphalt and concrete, police said.

The value of the missing tires and rims on that vehicle is $4,000, police said.

The incidents are under investigation. Police did not say whether the incidents were connected.
