When officers traced Angelique Romano, 39, to her Princeton Street address, a man who opened the door asked officers, “What did she do now?”
CVS employees told police Romano spent about 24 minutes in the Grasmere Avenue store around 1:30 p.m., placing about $209 worth of jewelry and two bags of snacks in a hand-held basket before leaving without paying, police said.
They said she got into a blue Hummer SUV and they gave officers a partial license plate number, police said.
Romano was charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 4.
