Fairfield Police Raise Funds For Special Olympics At Chip's Event

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Officers with the Fairfield and Trumbull Police Departments will host Cop-On-Top events to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Chip’s Family Restaurants on Monday, April 18 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Police officers from Fairfield and Trumbull will be sitting on the roofs of the Chips restaurants in an effort to raise funds for the Special Olympics.

The Chips Restaurants include:

  • Fairfield Police Department – 525 Tunxis Hill Cut Off
  • Trumbull Police Department – 57 Monroe Turnpike

During the Cop-on-Top event, officers will sit on the rooftop of the restaurants to call attention to Special Olympics’ inspiring athletes and important mission, and to collect donations from patrons and passersby until they meet their fundraising goal. 

Cop-On-Top is a Law Enforcement Torch Run event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.
