According to the police report, officers were called to the BJ's on Wednesday afternoon after a man walked out with a 40-inch flat screen television. The Vizio flat screen television was worth about $500, police said.
Randolf Pasnick, 35, kept walking out of the store and got into a gold Infinity car with two passengers and drove away, police said. Store employees took photos of the man and the car while contacting police.
Bridgeport police picked up Pasnick near Bassick High School, police said. A search of Pasnick in the system revealed two violations of probation warrants out of Bridgeport and two failure to appears from both Bridgeport and Stratford, police said.
Pasnick was being held on $70,000 bond in Bridgeport and waiting a court date. Fairfield issued a misdemeanor summons and a written promise to appear in court on Oct. 1 in the theft of the television from BJ's.
