Fairfield Police: Man Arrested After Throwing Decorative Pumpkin

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – A call filled with shouting to State Police prompted Fairfield officers to go to a home on Black Rock Turnpike late Tuesday night, police said. 

Fairfield Police took Jimmy Hutchinson, 38, of Fairfield, into custody and charged him with disorderly conduct after an argument at a home.

Fairfield officers arrived and determined that Jimmy Hutchinson, 38, of Fairfield, had been in a verbal argument with a family member, threw a decorative pumpkin at her and threatened to kill her, police said.

Police took Hutchinson into custody, charged him with disorderly conduct and held him on $5,000 bond. He was taken to court Nov. 6, but the outcome of his appearance was unknown.
