Fairfield Police Investigating Sexual Assault Report

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Police are investigating a possible sexual assault in an Old Post Road parking lot in the early morning hours of July 25.

A nurse at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven alerted the Detective Bureau to the incident, which occurred in a lot near The Gray Goose Café, police said.

The alleged victim is a 37-year-old North Haven woman, police said.

No other details were available Monday.
