Fairfield Police Investigate Two Overnight Car Break-Ins

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Fairfield police received two complaints Thursday morning regarding overnight thefts from cars on Judson Road and Birch Road.

At a house on Judson Road, two unlocked cars were entered between 1 and 5 a.m. Thursday, police said. A brown wicker purse and wallet, valued at $600, were taken from one car, and $125 from a wallet in the second car was also taken, police said.

On Birch Road, the car was in the driveway and had $5 in loose change taken from the center console.
