According to the police report, the rear driver side window of a 2009 Honda was smashed. The airbag was taken from the steering wheel and all the paperwork from the glove box was scattered on the front passenger seat, police said. A variety of expensive items were left behind, police said.

The car had been parked in the lot from 7:10 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., police said. The driver of the car parked next to the Honda who left at 1:20 p.m. said the car had been fine then, police said.

Police went through security tapes and saw a dark, older model sedan with a spoiler drive around the lot several times and go by the Honda.

The Honda wouldn't start, and AAA was contacted to tow it off the lot.
