Fairfield police arrested Jakob Audino, of Riverside Drive, at the Bridgeport probation office and charged him with three counts of third-degree burglary and one count of fifth-degree larceny.
According to police reports, Audino stole two matching fishing reels and rods valued at $620 from a boat docked at the marina. The boat's owner did not report any other missing items, police said.
Fishing equipment valued at a total of $350 was taken during the two other burglaries, police said.
A check of pawn shops in the area discovered Audino was selling fishing equipment almost every day at East Coast Pawn on Fairfield Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police.
Audino was released on a promise to appear in court and is scheduled to have his case heard Nov. 14.
