Fairfield K-9 Jagger Tracks Down Bridgeport Suspect

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- A Fairfield K9 Officer helped the Bridgeport Police department apprehend a suspect on Saturday, April 8, according to officials.

Jagger, the Fairfield K9 Officer, was called in after a suspect engaged in a vehicle pursuit bailed on his car and attempted to flee on foot, police said.

Jagger tracked the suspect over several residential yards before finding him hiding on a porch. When the suspect failed to comply with officers, Jagger engaged on the suspect's right foot before he was arrested, police said.

A loaded gun believed to be owned by the suspect was also found nearby, police said.
