Fairfield Firefighters Extinguish Burning Car On I-95

FAIRFIELD Conn. — Fairfield firefighters quickly doused the flames after a car burst into flames after an accident on I-95 on Wednesday, according to a Facebook post from the Fairfield Fire Department.  Within nine minutes of notfication, Engine One and Rescue One — with six Fairfield firefighters — were on the scene of the motor vehicle accident involving fire on Interstate 95, the firefighters said.
