Fairfield Cops: Woman, 56, Charged With Stealing Justin Bieber Perfume

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A 56-year-old Fairfield woman was arrested after she allegedly stole five bottles of fragrance, including selections from the Justin Bieber collection, from the CVS on Black Rock Turnpike, police said.

Fairfield and State Police cars will be out on extra patrols looking for unsafe drivers over the holiday weekend.

Diane Marie Surat, of Trefoil Court, was charged with sixth-degree larceny Feb. 3, after she left the store with the bottles, valued at $89.95, police said.

Store employees got the license plate number of the car she got into and officers arrested her at her home, police said.

In addition to the Justin Bieber spray, the fragrances included Cool Water perfume and Beyoncé Rise, police said.

Surat was released on a promise to appear in court, police said. Her court date was unavailable Monday.
