An officer stopped the car for a tinted window violation around 1:55 a.m. on Carter Henry Drive near the Post Road, police said.
A check by a narcotics K-9 indicated drugs in the car and officers found 11 mini zip baggies of cocaine in the fuse box underneath the hood, police said.
The driver, Gordon Cote, 45, of High Park Road, Stratford, was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of narcotics and possession of marijuana, police said. He was also given an infraction for improper tints with a sticker.
He was released on $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 1, police said.
The front seat passenger, Tony Maldonado, 34, of Greenfield Street, Fairfield, was also found in possession of a small amount of cocaine, police said.
He was charged with possession of narcotics and released on a written promise to appear in court on March 31, police said.
The rear passenger, Omar Javier Perez, 45, of Elmer Road, Stamford, was found with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.
He received an infraction for possession of marijuana under one-half ounce and was released from the scene, police said.
