David Luis Rosales, 23, of Cliff Street, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana and violation of a full no-contact protective order, police said.
Shortly after 4:30 a.m., an officer approached a 21-year-old Norwalk woman walking near a car parked near Kings Highway East and Commerce Drive. She said she had pulled her car into the lot at Rio Bravo restaurant because she was too intoxicated to drive, police said.
Rosales came from behind the restaurant and began yelling at the woman. They told officers they had been drinking in a Fairfield bad and got in an argument in the car.
A search showed Rosales had about 3.66 ounces of field-tested cocaine on his person and a bag of marijuana in the passenger door, police said.
Rosales was held on $2,500 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on April 24, police said.
