On the night of April 25, the Bridgeport victim went to police headquarters, saying her co-worker, Jerome Desmond Wilson, 41, of Franklin Street, was harassing her, police said. While she was talking to officers, the calls and texts continued.

An officer called Wilson and warned him to have no further contact with the victim, police said.

The police department domestic violence investigator began looking into the case because Wilson, who worked with the victim in Wilton, has a violent history, including strangulation, assault and weapons charges, police said. He was on parole at the time of the calls and texts, police said.

Fairfield police obtained an arrest warrant, which was served in court on Friday. Wilson was held on $20,000 bond, police said.
