Every Dog Has His Day: Fairfield Police K-9 Officer Maverick Turns 3

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Fairfield police K-9 Officer Maverick made the most of his Sunday morning off as he celebrated his 3rd birthday.

The Fairfield Police Department posted happy birthday wishes for Maverick on Facebook.

"I got a couple new @kongcompany toys and some sirloin steak treats. Relaxing this morning and then off to work this evening. Happy Easter!," Maverick posted on Instagram and Facebook.

Maverick joined the Fairfield Police Department in October 2015 and is partnered with Officer Evan Kaesmann, has been a member of the Fairfield force since August 2009.
