Car Crash On Redding Road Knocks Out Power In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Some Fairfield residents lost power Sunday night when a car hit a utility pole on Redding Road.

The Fairfield Fire Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries on Sunday night. As a result of the accident, there was a localized power outage, fire officials said.

The young driver and his passenger did not suffer any serious injuries in the crash, according to fire officials.
