FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Vasilios Hasiotis, 79, of Fairfield, husband of 52 years to Niki Psarofagis Hasiotis, died Sunday, Oct. 18.
Born in Katerini Greece, he was the son of the late Constantinos and Anastasia Bletsos Hasiotis. A resident of Fairfield for more than 35 years, he was the former proprietor of Cindy's Luncheonette in Fairfield and Tommy's of New Haven.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Athanasios Hasiotis (Vicky) of Trumbull; Anastasia Papanikolaou (Ilias) of Trumbull; Eleni Kasparis (Kosta) of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter Anastasia, two brothers and one sister.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport, with Trisagion services at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Friends are invited to attend the Rite of Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Ave., Bridgeport, with Father Georgios Livaditis Presbyter officiating, followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
