Feeney was born May 13, 1937, in Glenmore, Crossmolina, County Mayo, Ireland. After living in Middle Village, New York for 46 years, she moved to Fairfield in January 2011. She was a member of the Mayo Society for many years.
Feeney is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Jimmy (Caroline), John (Liz), and Joanne (Terence) Rooney; siblings, Vera Murphy, Evelyn Crehan and Seamus Lynott; 10 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Bridie Lynott, Nancy Hoban, and Kathleen Lynott.
Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Spear Miller Funeral Home at 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Our Lady of the Assumption, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, Connecticut 06825.
