FAIRFIELD, Conn. Magdolna Torok Nagy of Fairfield died July 31, with family by her side. She was 73.
Born and raised in Hungary, Nagy was one of 11 siblings. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 and lived in Fairfield for more than 45 years. She was married to Kalman Nagy Sr., who survives her.
Nagy enjoyed caring for her garden, knitting, baking and cooking for family and friends. She spent winters in Florida and enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Magdolna Nagy, and her companion, Joseph Bocchino, of Fairfield; four sons, Kalman (Sandra) Nagy Jr. of Milford, Julius (Susan) Nagy of Milford, Stephen (Lauren) Nagy of Trumbull and Joseph Nagy of Fairfield; and eight grandchildren. Nagy is also survived by her best friend, Krisztina Hotz, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held privately. Lesko and Polke Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
