FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Lucy L. (Altieri) DelVecchio of Fairfield died March 29. She was 95.
DelVecchio was born in Bridgeport, a daughter of Patsy and Gertrude Creatura Altieri. A resident of Fairfield since 1961. She was a member of the Norwalk boat club.
DelVecchio is survived by her sons, Frank A. (Judy) DelVecchio of Monroe, Gary P. (Jennifer) DelVecchio of Fairfield; four grandchildren; brother, Patsy (Rose Marie) Altieri of Stratford; sister, Edith Vining of Stratford; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony; brother, Leonard Altieri.
Calling hours will take place Wednesday, April 3 after 10 a.m. until time of service in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 3 in Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield, followed by interment in Lawncroft Burial Park, Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd, Branford, CT. 06405 in memory of DelVecchio.
