FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield resident Judith Skier Brown died on Tuesday, Jan. 12. She was 67.
Brown loved being with her family, baking, gardening, entertaining and playing golf.
She was involved in the community, and served on the boards of the Jewish Home for the Elderly, Operation Hope, Bridgeport Hospital Women's Auxiliary and the Birchwood Country Club.
Brown is survived by her husband, Dr. David Brown; children Martha Brown Zuckman, Sarah Brown Goldstein and Douglas Skier Brown; sons-in-law Dr. Brett Zuckman and Eli Goldstein; sister Susan Skier Sawyer; brothers-in-law Jerald Sawyer and Alvin Brown; sister-in-law Muriel Brown; nieces Stephanie Greenfield, Jessica Peristere and Rebecca Pino; and her dog Rawley.
The funeral was Wednesday morning at Congregation Beth El. Shiva will be observed at the Brown family home on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings. Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
