John V. Pulito, 74, Lifelong Fairfield Resident

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - John Vincent Pulito, lifelong resident of Fairfield, died Wednesday, July 16. He was 74.

Pulito was born May 19, 1940, and was the son of Frank and Emma (Barbetta) Pulito. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked at Remington Arms and Sikorsky Aircraft. He was a member of the Northeast Organic Farmers Association and contributed to many charities.

Pulito is survived by his daughter, Amy Francoletti (Paul) of Redding; son, Christopher Pulito (Nancy) of Fairfield; four grandchildren; brothers, Joseph, Donald, and Kristopher Pulito; sisters, Gloria Barclay, Christine Pulito-Colbert and Emma Leventakos; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Mary Ann (Fugazzi) Pulito; son, John Pulito; and brothers, Frank, Robert, and Vincent Pulito.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July, 23 at Our Lady of the Assumption Church Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
