ORMOND BEACH, Fla. - Joanne Lucy (Cerino) Greenstein, of Ormond Beach, formerly of Fairfield, Conn., died Monday, July 29. She was 61.
Greenstein was born June 10, 1952, in Bridgeport, Conn., daughter of Joseph and Grayce Cerino. She graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1970, and received her B.S. in Preschool Education from the University of Connecticut in 1974. She worked in her father's grocery store, Gemma Supermarket, located on the East Side of Bridgeport. After college, she worked as a teacher in Stamford and later in Monroe. She held various positions in the insurance and computer industries, and most recently for Weight Watchers, Inc.
Greenstein is survived by her husband, David; son, Justin; sisters, Grayce (Ed) Perchaluk of Guilford, Conn., and Margie (Bob) Mingrone of Shelton, Conn.; many nieces and nephews; many great- nieces and nephews; and first cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Ronnie Cerino; and father-in-law, Leonard Greenstein.
