NAPLES, Fla. - Jack DePledge of Naples, formerly Fairfield, Conn., died Nov. 20. He was 85.
DePledge was born April 1, 1929, to Walter and Nellie DePledge. He was a sales representative for several wood product companies. He was also a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War.
DePledge is survived by his children, Maureen Leone, John DePledge (Ellen), and Kathleen Mullin (Jeffrey); and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen DePledge; and son, Thomas.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at Fairfield Prep chapel in Xavier Hall. Interment will follow immediately at Oaklawn cemetery in Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairfield Preparatory School in DePledge's name.
